Klaudia grew up riding back east in Chicago, Illinois. She began riding at age eight at Glen Grove Equestrian Center and later became a working student. In high school, she started riding with an eventing trainer at Frontenac Farm. During high school, she switched her focus to the hunter/jumper world when she started riding with Jacki Larisch at Winter Meadow Farm. There she received a wealth of experience working with green horses. Klaudia has travelled to Europe to ride with trainers from Mullingar, Belfast and Brussels and to work with young, green horses ranging from yearlings to five year olds. Klaudia attended Willamette University where she received her degree in Biology and explored her passion for veterinary medicine. There she also started and coached the university’s first IHSA team which has successfully been competing in the zone. For two years, she worked as a professional groom where she managed a barn filled with top athletes as well as travelled to shows and learned how to not only be a competitor but also provide quality care to our four-legged teammates. Klaudia regularly attends clinics and lessons to ensure that she, as well as her students, are constantly learning. Some people that she has learned from include: Richard Spooner, Bernie Traurig, and Jeff Cook.
